FNB IS VERY NEGLIGENT
I'm writing another review because the first one didn't get much attention and my issue has not been resolved!! I was given 48hours and 120 hours later, it's still not resolved. My account is still in a negative balance and its accumulating because of overdrawn fees. I have debit orders in two days and they will be unpaid because of this which will result in overdrawn fees and I will not be accounted for them. Can FNB fix this once and for all, and stop disrupting my life. I'm in the United states, I'm unable to take south African calls. Can whoever whose going to be dealing with this email me or comment on the hello Peter post!! If this isn't resolved, I'm writing to the ombudsman,. This is ridiculous !
"Okay, I'm going the hello Peter route because I don't have the energy to be dealing with multiple agents, cases being investigated and retelling my story. I just need this resolved quickly and if its resolved TIMELY, I'll go ahead and change it to 5 stars. Here goes, on the second of October I started a loan application of R5000 through my fnb app. I was asked to upload documents of my recent proof of income which I did, a day went by but nothing happened which is strange because FNB usually approves within an hour. I decided to call the loan line friday and I got through to an agent stating she cant see any application that has been started, she then said, she will transfer me to sales to see if they can help. Got through to a gentleman and he also said the same thing, he can't see any application being started. He then suggested, I re do the application online which i did and was approved and money was put in my account within an hour. A week goes by and yesterday, I receive a msg stating my loan has been approved which I shrug off as a delayed message because that sometimes happens. Only to open my account and I see another loan of 5000 in my account which I now realize is probably from the first application Now this morning, I did receive a huge amount of money. I paid off the loan I took on the 4th of October and put back that ACCIDENTAL R5000 was deposited in my account back. I just opened my app and I see my account is in a negative balance of 5000, I think you guys here had realized the mistake made and tried to reverse the amount. Luckily, I transferred all my money to my credit card this morning so that wasn't successful because you would have ended up owing me 5000 So I need two things resolved here, I need my account bank in a positive balance ( that 4999 must be reversed) as you can see I've put the money back. Second thing, the second loan that was sent. I need the R649 initiation fee to be removed because I didn't want two loans and I'm not paying an initian fee for cash I didn't request. All of this could have been avoided if the system picked up the first loan which isn't my fault. I have confidence you guys will resolve this That is all, looking forward to hearing from you "
