FNB is useless
My son was, unfortunately, forced t open an account with FNB to receive his money paid through PayPal. He was told he'd be receiving 3 months FREE Funeral Policy. Thereafter, if he'd like to carry on with it, it would cost him R49. The next day his account was debited with R49!!!! There werent even enough funds for this, nor did he sign anything or GIVE PERMISSION for this to happen. He was now in the red and charged a fee for returned transaction. I went into the branc band was told the promo had ended but they hadnt received the communication. The consultant would see what she could do. She phoned back and said nothing she can do, it had ended but they didnt receive the communication regarding it. I asked to speak to the Branch Manager. I was asked if its ok if she returns my call a bit later. That was a week ago. I now phoned Eldoraignes number on Google but went through to the Call Centre. This is the only means of correspondence in FNB. You cannot phone a branch!!!! What pathetic customer service. I must now get into my car and drive out petrol again and go to the Branch. I'm more than shocked!!!! What a pity my son needs this account. Not impressed from the beginning!!!!!
