FNB is the worst bank !

I’ve been banking with FNB for a very long period of time however , I’ve made a decision to change banks because of the extremely poor customer service from FNB , their complaints and ***** departments are absolutely useless & are just there for the sake of being there . I had a ***** incident in March this year & I went to their Sunward park branch to report everything that happened…after blocking my card & getting a new card , the consultant managed to assist me in getting a new card & showed me from their system that there was a balance in my account, I went to a store to make a purchase just make certain that the money was really there . Indeed it was . However a day later without making any transactions, or any withdrawals my Bank balance was 0.00. I went back to the Sunward park branch and showed them the account, they verified on their system as well that the last purchase made was from the previous day.

The consultants at the sunward park branch assisted in laying a complaint for me because they themselves couldn’t explain how the money ‘mysteriously’ disappeared from my account without any proof even from their own system. A complaint was sent to the complaints department, I received an email indicating that the matter will be resolved in 31 days , today is the 3rd of July and I still haven’t received any feedback from FNB , when you call their complaints department you just get transferred to people who seem *********** with their job! From my experience FNB is the worst bank you can trust with your money . My husband banks with Standard Bank and we both had ***** cases reported the same day / night . Standard Bank has made all mean’s possible to recover and resolve his matter, while I’m still running back & forth trying to get ahold of FNB with a matter I’ve reported in March 2023. I’m absolutely appalled with this and I am more than happy to start banking with a new bank other than FNB! They don’t care about their customers !!!!!!
