FNB IS THE WORST

I am writing to formally express my extreme frustration and concern regarding the handling of my accounts and the ongoing lack of response from FNB.

My accounts were forcefully closed following a ***** report submitted by a client who paid funds into my account. Despite this report being unsubstantiated from my side, all my accounts were closed, and I have since been struggling for months to recover the remaining funds that were held in my account.

The most concerning issue is the complete lack of communication and responsiveness from FNB. I have sent approximately 15 emails in the past week alone, with virtually no response apart from one automated out-of-office reply. Prior to that, the last correspondence I received was around the 17th or 18th of February. As of today, 26 February, I have still received no meaningful update.

I have repeatedly been informed that FNB requires confirmation of my alternative bank account with Capitec in order to release my funds. Capitec has confirmed that they have sent the necessary confirmations to FNB multiple times. Despite this, there has been no progress and no feedback provided to me.

This prolonged delay, lack of communication, and absence of resolution is unacceptable. I am unable to access funds that rightfully belong to me, and I am left without clear guidance or accountability from any department — whether Customer Care or the ***** Department.

I respectfully request urgent escalation of this matter and immediate written confirmation of:

The exact status of my case

What outstanding requirements (if any) are still needed

A clear timeline for the release of my remaining funds

I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter.
