Fnb is the worst.

Where to start? After luring me away from my bank, which was the devil I knew at the beginning of the year, I have just had non stop problems. Let's start. Credit. Okay, I have no debt whatsoever. Car paid off, etc etc. I open up a premier account, pay 200 a month, I was told by the 'person' who led me into temptation I qualify for overdraft and credit facility (which I did at my old bank) but anyway. So the day I go to get my fancy new cards, I arrive but no credit cards, no overdraft, just a normal card. Take in mind, I have already switched so my old cards are useless. I was in the process pre-fnb getting no problem financing for a decent (3x your salary) engagement ring. Problem at the bank. Credit declined? But why? My credit score 650+. "Sorry guy, we cannot give you debt, because you don't have any." The financial genius at the bank recommends to me I need a clothing account to help me portray a image that I can handle money properly. Uh, I can that's why I have paid off all my debt 10 years ago. So I listen. Go to Edgar's, open up a account. Wait a month. Pay all my bills. Check my credit score. 572. Shat myself. Go back to the bank. And I get my first "I'm sorry, the system just declines." No reason, just **** you. Another month passes. Back at FNB. Never mind magically giving me the credit score of a crackhead with no explanation whatsoever, I get told, I will definitely get credit and some help when I am with them for 3 months. Yay! I believe the 'person' and go about my life. 3 months pass, and what happens? I get fed another ****sandwich seasoned with ****s. "Sorry but the systems says no". But you promised me guy. Look here, on this paper, I promise. Pointing to the bankers words. "Sorry, you know what? FNB only does credit in 6 months. My bad." Never mind the debt I made taking this hip but forgetful guy's word. Life tip : Financial institutions and the phrase "Oops, my bad" don't belong together. Anyway, **** that guy. Now to try and stay ahead of my debt, I have to borrow money from people who charge me 30-40% monthly. FNB still doesn't care, although I told everyone in the bank. Bank manager won't see me, get shrugged by the customer relation person. Okay first complant. Not resolved. Ebucks. I over qualify by double digits, but apparently I don't. This is the game they play with me for 25 days of the month. I qualify the last 5 days, don't earn ****, then on the first, you don't qualify again. Its a joke. That was no 2. *****. While spending another afternoon which I so love speaking to a condescending *****, and begin kept on hold for 28min again, the drone makes a mistake. He forwards me the wrong email. A email with my header, address, all my details, which contains a message I did not send. When I confronted the guy, he said he was sorry and I think he blocked me off his email. Never heard from him again. Laid a complaint with proof with FNB. Nothing. So if the staff are fabricating emails, how the hell must I trust the bank? Not resolved. 4. Business account. 10 days to help you set up till your bank account is open. ******* month 2 guy. The business division don't make calls. That's policy. They don't return them either. Or emails, etc, etc. No feedback. Nothing. Vokol. ****ed my credit. My ability to receive income and made endless problems for SARS. I can carry on about the use of slang and grammar from senior people in the bank on emails and company documents, there is just too much. It's not like FNB are insidious, they are just indifferent. In my opinion, that's much worse. Sooo. In a nutshell, before moving to FNB, try these responsible actions. They will work out better for you. I promise. 1. Try heroin. 2. Bang your wife's sister. 3. Send money to that prince in Nigeria who will definitely send it back. 4. Be a ****** on social media or any platform for that matter. 5. Soos ons in Afrikaans se, slaan eerder jou voel in die kluis toe.

So here I sit with most of the same problems I had back then. Still your useless bank denies me credit due to the system that says no. Do I get any consideration? You ******* bloodsuckers can take R3500 worth of bank charges a month - true story, but cannot give me the time of day. I got rewarded thousands of Ebucks. YaY, guess what? Still cannot use my ebucks. I have sat in your branches across South-Africa. For hours. No one can give me a reason why it won't work. OR fix it for that matter. Written off. Thanks for nothing. After my ***** incident, I do not trust anyone at your nest of vipers, especially at your premier division. Lying, ************* and insidious. I forwarded all the proof of ***** to management. Nothing happened. What still bothers me, is not the fact that a whole company is going to have their own division in hell, where they will get treated exactly like they treat their customers, but FNB's indifference. My set of "personal bankers" should be named, "Useless, bored and rude people who can, but will NEVER help you, but will only give you a number to call." FNB reminds me of purgatory. In Hell, you would at least get some attention and you kind of know why you are there. At FNB you get ignored but have no idea why you are there. I pulled a salary of over R225 000 last month. Go check my statements. I will do the same this month and the month after. Don't you find it a tad ironic that when I achieve your "private wealth" status in my early 30s that I am moving to Nedbank? I made one phone call to Nedbank. They called me back immediately, I saw a banker that day, and within two days, I had all my cards (VISA, AMEX, etc). They immediately gave me an overdraft, two credit cards and are going to finance my new R650 000 vehicle. In February they will finance my new home. They will be my bank, and my family's bank for generations to come. My father (who owns a JSC listed company - ALREADY disgusted by FNB, way before his son's traumatic experience with your "establishment", is in the process right from moving from FNB to STD bank. One by one everyone will leave you, everyone will see you for what you really are. All of your lazy, slothful and unhelpful employees will be cast out into darkness, desolate, alone, desperate and without means. Hopefully, they will see the light, and do the right thing, and have a mass suicide. I wash my hands of your pathetic organization, will openly and publicly badmouth FNB, and will make a point of converting everyone to anything else rather than what they stay tormented, slowly getting their soul drained out by FNB. Having FNB for your bank is like being unhappily married. If you don't understand that, ask your spouse. Goodbye and good riddance to bad mother ****ing *******. Not yours, ever again, Jan Heijnen
