FnB is the biggest ***** in history of banking

Hi to whom this may concern. On the 6th of January 2026,i went to Fnb and settle my cheque account and credit card. I message an agent now and asked why my credit card is not closed after I settled it. They said account charges was added on the same day I settled the account. The teller and manager who assisted me assured me I don't ow anything and it will be closed. Fnb Promenade Mitchell's Plain in Cape Town. They must track the phone call on the time I made transfers and payments in my fnb account. They want me to pay R300 now to close it. Everything shows in my payment history that I made the correct transfers including the extra cost of the settle amounts. A supervisor needs to sort this mess out. After paying for more than 15 years on a funeral policy they let it lapsed, lost my mother last year. I want nothing to do with Fnb, they need to close my credit card so that I can move on. Doing business with them is the biggest mistake I made in my life. I regret everyoment.
