FNB is one big ****
I have a business account with FNB and it has been in operation for years since 2015/16. recently in December 2018 after a good second half of the year business was picking up nicely and money was coming in, they froze my account from 4th of December and i only picked it up few days before Christmas when i wanted to pay for my petrol at a filling station. needless to say i couldn't pay and started making phone calls to FNB and i spoke to the analyst by the name of Nomthandazo Macayi and she was far from being helpful and sympathetic towards me.
First she told me i need to call "whoever" gave them instructions to suspend my account (bare in mind i do not know who gave them instructions to freeze my account). A day later i called again seeking clarity and again Nomthandazo gave me attitude on the phone, called me a ****, threatened to hang up on me cause at this point i was raising my voice cause she is not listening to me and refuses to work with me as an FNB client.
I escalated the matter to her manager Regina Malope who asked me for invoices i sent to clients and i supp**** those, then Nomthandazo called me and gloated about how it doesnt matter if i talk to her manager fact remains she is the one handling this incident and it will always come back to her. Again mocking me and calling me a ****. I complained on social media to RB jacobs and till this day my issue is not yet resolved.
It became apparent to me that someone deposited money into my account and i obviously used it because i thought its from one of the many delayed payments. FNB then classified this as ***** and froze my account. There was no warning or communication to me from FNB about this matter and they just went ahead and did as they please.
My business account has roughly over R50k and i had a black christmas cause i couldnt buy my kids clothes, food and all the nice things. We are now in january 2020 and schools are opening soon, i cant pay for their fees, uniform, school transport and other things.
in addition i asked for recorded phone calls cause i felt the way their agent spoke to me was unacceptable, their response to my request was that i must get a subpoena section 205 before they do. whereas they tell us that every call is recorded and will be made available to you should you need it.
i am now stuck with this mess and im fed up with being transferred from pillar to post and goal posts being shifted. i speak to different people all the time and my issue is yet not resolved. social media has proven that many FNB clients have been subjected to this and lost their money cause they were bul**** by this institute.
the pay off line "how can we help you" means nothing at all cause they failed me big time.
Nomthandazo Macayi on the 29 December 2019 told me on the phone that she will never help me and she will not remove the suspend. This is the reason why i want recorded phone calls.
i am helpless and i just don't know what to do
