Fnb is not a digital bank they an outdated bank fronting

On the 20.08.21 I thought let me give fnb a chance so I app**** for a easy account online then went to their trade route mall branch to hand in my documents and collect my card. I then took finger prints and my finger prints could not pick up ( now let’s just pause here for a second, fnb is supposedly a digital bank but they use outdated finger scanners) anyway I was then told to go to home affairs to fix my prints and was not given anything.

So at this point I wasted already my whole morning standing in a line only to be turned away and not helped.

I got contacted from the trade route branch and was told they would send a request for the online team to close my online profile. It’s been a few days later since the 20th and I have no confirmation of my online profile being closed as I want **** all to do with fnb.

Just a side note as well, over the weekend I was at another bank and took all 10 my finger prints one time and it worked no problem so again fnb has garbage systems and finger print scanners (fnb should be embarrassed honestly).

Which ever clown reads this review from fnb please contact me and close my online profile and make sure I have nothing linked to fnb because I am so disgusted in your service that I think Thyme bank is even better than fnb.

And any other person reading this review, if you like me who expects service when you with a bank choose another bank as fnb is arrogant and they belong to be placed with Telkom when it comes to bad service . Choose another bank rather it will save you all the trouble I went through.

If I could give fnb a half star rating I would terrible service and laid back useless staff.
