FNB is driving away lifelong customers

Two days ago I was kept for over 2 hours at the Grahamstown branch. The branch was hot and smelly to a point where I had to wash my clothes when I got home. You'd think after I suffered through that, where it took 2 hours to open a business account, I'd at least leave satisfied. No! For the past two days I've had to tell FNB to stop using my contact details from over 20 years ago. This morning I was trying to buy airtime for my new business number, only for the APP to tell me that my business number is a personal number I had 20 years ago. My question is this, "why is FNB hellbent on ensuring that I leave the bank once again??" Some of us come from the era of Bob kids, where we had FNB accounts as children. But, due to these recent events, I'm actually going to be closing this 2 day old account, because this isn't the first time. 4 years ago, FNB did the same thing using old contact details I never provided them with. The worst part is that, I was updating contact information just yesterday after being transferred to 8 different people. Your customer service sucks and that's understandable, because you've changed the workforce. These are people who don't take any pride in the brand, they're driving away those of us who have stuck around because we're nostalgic. I'm disgusted!!! I don't even want an apology, I want an explanation. Why is that old number listed as a contact number when I had to sit in a bank that was hot, stuffy, and smelly while providing all the contact information. How was this yet another opportunity for FNB to showcase how much it is determined to get rid of its customers?!
