FNB is deceiving its customers

I app**** for a limit increase on my credit card via the FNB APP and via online banking. Received a “Congratulations your credit limit has been increased” message but my limit was not increased. I sent a an email querying this a few days ago and I’m still waiting for a response.

FNB needs to change its “How can we help you?” slogan. It seems that FNB customers need to ask FNB how can we help them.

Really disappointed with the service now being offered by FNB. It USED to be the best. Not anymore!!!

Thank you. I did receive a response which basically brushed me off. However, I did receive a telephone call from Mariska Rossouw and I was requested to submit details of my query including the screenshot of the message which stated that the limit has been increased so that they can investigate the matter. Regards Hassen

I received an email from FNB today stating that my request has been concluded. Please can you explain to me me how was the request concluded. FNB does not have the decency to reply to the query I raised. This proves that my complaint regarding the drop in the service level offered by FNB is true. All I want to know is why would a message state “Congratulations your credit limit has been increased” when it hasn’t been. If there was mention of the fact that it is subject to submission of documents or anything for that matter then that will be a different story. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR SLOGAN “HOW CAN WE HELP YOU” AS FNB DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO HELP ITS CUSTOMERS. What would be more appropriate is customers should ask FNB “HOW CAN WE HELP FNB.” If this is the service offered to FNB Private Wealth customers, I cannot imagine what service is offered to customers that have a basic or even FNB GOLD ACCOUNTS. I am just glad that I stopped a friend of mine who I finally convinced to move his account from Nedbank to FNB. He has already app**** to Standard Bank to move his account from Nedbank to Standard Bank and he got the consultant to call me and I mentioned to the consultant that I recently app**** for a Standard Bank Credit Card and it was approved with a much higher credit limit than what I currently have with FNB but I didn’t order the card yet as I was waiting to see if FNB sorts out my query. So now it seems that I’ve got the go ahead from FNB to order the STD Bank credit card. Thank you for the sub standard service. Regards Hassen

The above query was closed due to the fact that the Congratulations message I received was sent by mistake. Subsequently, on the 14th of March I received a message on my FNB APP stating that my credit limit has been increased and is available immediately. However, it didn’t reflect on my account when I checked and it still does not reflect on my account. I was told by the consultant via secure chat on the FNB APP that it maybe still being processed. If that’s the case why did I receive the following message : “ You're all set, HASSEN Your FNB Private Clients Credit Card limit has been increased and is available immediately.” The message was received @ 00:42 on the 14th of March 2018. If a copy of the screenshot of the message is required please let me know and I will email it to you guys. I queried this and again I was told that the message was sent in error and that my application for a credit limit increase is still pending. The next email I received stated the following: - We wish to advise that your request with reference number CAS- ********** -L8L0V0 has been closed - There was no communication since the email I received stating that my application is pending. except for the email stating that the case is concluded. No explanation, reason or outcome of the process was furnished. IS THIS THE LEVEL OF SERVICE FNB PRIVATE WEALTH SERVICE SUITE OFFERS ITS CLIENTS? The reference numbers for the above are as follows : 1. ReferenceRh ********** 03~1 2. CRM: ********** ********** 3 3. CAS- ********** -L8L0V0 Furthermore, FNB online banking was down yesterday and again today. I really don’t know how much lower the service being offered can go. FNB stands for FIRST NUISANCE BANK. FNB PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING THE SLOGAN “HOW CAN WE HELP YOU” BECAUSE FNB DOES NOT HELP ITS CLIENTS, CLIENTS SHOULD ASK HOW WE CAN HELP THEM. Regards. Hassen
