FNB is a sinking ship.

Once again I am totally shocked by the poor service and the tail wagging the dog at FNB.

Once upon a time I trusted and supported FNB whole heartedly. However that ship of 'how can we help you?' And 'The future of Help is here' has long since sailed, set itself alight and is sinking.

I have an outstanding debt with FNB, i was unable to pay the account for some time, rightfully so, I was handed over to their collections department.

I have however been paying the account and have made some bulk payments with the prospect of settling the account. Unfortunately the funds that were meant to be paid into my account are delayed but will be paid.

The concerning aspect however is that FNB's 'legal' department offer around R15 000 settlement two weeks ago.......and now this week only R19 000 odd?

How is this difference so great on such a small outstanding capital?

Also, the document sent originally to my old email address that I have not used in 12 odd years also features my old home address from at least 9 years ago, a letterhead from FNB complete with numbers and emails that are not active?

The outstanding amount quoted also doesnt take into account the R11 700 I have paid to date already in the last four months?

This morning with 6 phone calls to FNB and around 30 minutes have yielded ZERO success in assistance or clarity.

FNB's own legal department number on their site is inactive and none of your agents have been able to assist?

I tried calling your nearest branch to speak to a manager there.......number also doesnt exist?

FNB - this is exactly why I stopped banking with you and decided to take my business elsewhere.

For a fraction of what you charged me in banking fees I get triple the service and in absolutely no time at all.

Good day.

I received contact back.

A clear advisory was given with a settlement letter.

I made payments but not the total amount as per the settlement.

I have been trying in vain for the last week to try and get in contact with your department to find out exactly what the balance is and of all my payments have been reveived.

Sadly its impossible to get in contact with anyone at FNB - as usual.

Another 3 emails sent this week, multiple calls......still no help from FNB.

FNB.....i want to give you your money back that I owe.

Why cant you just give me an answer and tell me what the exact balance is now between the settlement and the recon of what I have paid?

I cannot deal with you guys anymore. Seriously.

FYI - another 20 minute phone call at the moment, my 4th call to FNB today.

Still cant find Joyce anywhere.
