FNB IS A MONEY MAKING SCHEME BANK

Dear Hello Peter

I am so disappointed and frustrated by FNB, iv recently joined the bank and it seems like I made a big mistake. So here's my story, on 25 October 2019 my account was debited with an amount of R875, I was not aware of this until I went through my bank statement. I enquired via the secure chat I didn't get any help, then I made a call and I was told/ assisted by Ms Lerato Pertunia Molekwa that the amount is for toll gates purchases that went off wen my account had insufficient funds. I then asked when did my account have insufficient funds as I was not aware of this? I was told only on 20 October 2019, so I asked and when did I swipe my card to pay for tollgates the answer was few days before 20 October but then the tollgates people only took the amount of R80.50 on 20 October and on that specific day my account didn't have funds so for every transaction (7 transcation to be exact worth R11.50 each) that I did before my account was in access FNB charged me R125 (125X7=R875) mind who this is my bank, I trust them with my money and funny enough i was never even called to be told my account is on a minus which is always the case when account is on minus. I then asked why didnt they let the transcation bounce or allow the transcation to go through and live my account on -R80.50 instead because that's what I owed for tollgates? I was told my account 'Private Client Account' nogal is not on that option where if there are no funds the transaction will bounce I didn't even know one can choose such option cause obviously I would have opted for such so that's why they decided to charge me R125 for all 7 transactions. After several calls I was promised a refund. A week passed, when I called I was told my issue is being investigated further, well a month later I still haven't heard anything but being sent from pillar to post instead. So this is my last option to get my refund as I feel that FNB has wronged me, what they did is very ********* I mean how do you charge your own client an amount of R125 for a transaction worth R11.50? I feel that this bank is a money making scheme, I feel betrayed, this is a *******. Hope I will get assistance on this platform and get my refund, they should have just taken R80.50 that was deducted instead of charging me per transaction, my other concern this tollgate people took the money at once meaning 1 transcation when through yet I'm charged for 7 transactions, why didn't they charge me for 1 transcation (R125X1) instead atleast that would have made sense, something doesn't add up but all I know is that I want my money back. Looking forward to getting assistance.
