FNB IS A CHEAT! BE CAREFUL
I went to Mount Frere ATM on the 2/10/19 to withdraw cash and the ATM shaded grey meaning there was no money, I tried the second one still it was shaded grey. I stood there and as I was standing an incontact notified me that I withdrew 3000 from the first ATM. I immediately called the 0800 number and they said they cannot assist me I will have to go to the bank the next morning. The next morning I went there and we filled forms and I was told they will refund me my money within 72 hours. Now I just received an sms saying the query has been declined and no refund will take place. Why us that so? Why haven't you played the CCTV footage to see if I was lying or not. You are cheats and I want my money. I'm willing to hire a lawyer if this comes to a push. I want my money, my hard earned cash please.

09 Oct 2019, 06:23After being notified on this site that fnb has responded, I received a call from their mount frere branch. This UNathi told me my money was taken by a guy and that I needed to go view a camera. She was most concerned of closing the complaint than the person complaining surely fnb does train their employees in this cheating. I want to believe that this branch is linked to this *****. I want my money, period. When I got there even the branch manager was so defensive in that he wouldn't even listen to me without having interrupted, surely he's also trained to do it and he doesit best. He couldn't even careless when I was addressing the issue that this Unathi cared only about closing the complaint and as i was still complaining about the manner Unathi was on the phone, phoning me time and again he just pointed the fingers at me and they were both very happy to take me to the camera room. My question is still unanswered though, how did 3000 go out of my account when the machine was all shaded grey on the withdrawal options? The only options the machine had was to transfer, prepaid and the others but not for withdrawals. I need an answer. How did the machine decide to pick 3000 while it didn't even give me an option to choose amount? For that matter I only needed 1300 that night, had it given me options why would I press 3000 knowing that I needed 1300?
