FNB is a ****

We went to FNB to let them know that our mom passed away in 2018 January.We were told that no money will go out or in until we come with the letter of authority.Due to unforeseen circumstances we only got the letter in 2023 December.

I went straight to the branch,give them the letter,death and I'd.I was told that the money is not the same anymore it's way way less,when I enquire about this,I was told that they couldn't/can't make the system to stop,the system stops itself after 5 years.So I asked the Manager what we were told 5 years ago ago,she apologized that the consultant who helped us that day was supposed to tell us that after 18 months there will be bank charges and what not...still puzzled about the explanation,I asked them to give me what was left.I was then told that I need to pay R100 to activate my mom's acc.told them that I do not have,they can take it from the money in the acc.they told me they can't do that cause I will have to deposit this R100 then I said I will have to come back when I've got it.In the same breath ,I was told that there's nother savings that I can get that will take 31 working days to be cleared.The consultant did everything that was needed.I waited for that money going to the FNB branch now and asking about this money,calls will be made and I will be told that it is on stage 5 then stage 6...when I went for the last for that savings money in April 2024,I was told that that account was closed,meaning that I can get the money anytime...indeed I received it the following day.So they were lying to me when they were telling me about the 30/31 working days.

I also activated the main account in April,and this time around they never asked me for the 'R100 activation,'still waiting for that money till to date.Im not talking about millions here. FNB is just a ****.I just want my mom's money that's all I want from them. Be frank,don't lie to people.
