FNB Insurance policies a huge fugazi

The worst experience of my life. So i get a call from one of the sales people from FNB, telling me how lucky i am that im one of the selected to get the opportunity of getting a Hospital cash back plan with FNB. i then listened and took the plan as he stated that the plan will cover me and my family immediatly and as long as i use a proper registered hospital the plan will pay no questions asked, no waiting periods.

Then one of my sons caught bronchitis and the was admitted for 4 days at Nelspruit Mediclinic, i then call FNB after my son got discharged and now, there are stories of me being unaware of waiting periods.... the funniest thing is before they could tell me if they will pay out or not they asked me what my child was in for?

i am warning everyone from taking plans from Banks as they are unreliable, what they are good at is keeping money not insurances or life policies,...

i had all my policies with this bank and as from now i am cancelling all of them and going straight to a company that actually works with Life covers and insurances not a finance house.

i will never take a policy over the phone ever again and especially one coming from a ban****
