FNB INSURANCE PAYING ASSESSORS TO DECLINE CLAIMS

I have been a customer of FNB since I was 21. About a year ago I switch my bond also to FNB and it was insisted I used their insurance. It seemed logical and I signed up. I am however convinced that insurance is rigged so it can be declined. My pool pump stopped working and I got my own pool guy in to check what was the course. The pool guy a local professional advised that he tested the line and there was a loss of pressure to the system which indicates a leak underground and that I should claim from insurance. He also indicated that my pool pump was finished but I paid him to replace that - a R2500 later out of my pocket. FNB insurance took long with my claim I logged on the 21 June as they phoned a month later, today to say it was declined because their assessor assessed roots broke my underground pool pump. I put FNB to proof of that. According to the person present on my property the assessor told him that my pipe needs a clamp which I should pay him for on the side, no mention of roots. He did dig up my paving and collapse it but I can assure you the tree near buy is a feeble bush and not a tree and cannot choke underground pool pipping. IN FACT I PUT FNB TO PROOF OF THIS CLAIM THAT ROOTS BROKE MY UNDERGROUND POOL PIPPING TO THE FILTER. For me this is a means to gaslight a customer and deny a claim. This is an insurable event FNB AND I WANT YOU TO PROVE ME WITH PICTURES THAT IT IS NOT AND WHY IS YOU ASSESSORS ASKING ME FOR SIDE MONEY.

Hi FNB

I just got the claim rejection letter with no proof of the roots. When I lodged the claim I provided that I don't know if its the pump or pool pipes that are faulty because I am not a technician. I got my own pool guy to assess and he replaced the pool pump at my own cost and said that insurance should check the pipes underground cos there was a loss in pressure. An FNB person called me thereafter telling me my claim was approved and then somebody came out and told us it was a pipe problem which is not covered but we can pay him to fix it. He put on some clamp and left now he is talking about roots. I can assure you there are trees on my property but its a feeble bush but the presence of the bush does not prove its roots broke the pipe - that's an automatic assumption made to evade my claim. I want to be present when they open my ground - the previous pool guys you sent broke my paving by the way and did not fix it - and I want to see that the bush affected the pipe as the busy is not near the pipe to the pump.
