FNB INSURANCE COLLUDING WITH BIG BUSINESS (PANEL BEATERS)

It disgusts me that FNB Insurance seems to be colluding with companies. I have a panel beating business and have sent a quote which was way less than what the client received from another panel shop. My quote weas R31k and the other shops quote was R42k. FNB insurance claims handlers have said to the client that they will only pay the client R15 if the vehicle is brought to my shop... But if the car goes to the other panel shop, that shop will discount the price by almost R20k. But they do not want to give the client that in writing. So is FNB or its staff in taking kickbacks from other panel shops. WHY DOES FNB not want to see small business succeed. It is actually disgusting practice from a banking institution to be practicing this behavior. Insurance companies are ignoring the recent law passed that clients have the write to take their vehicle to a repairer of their choice. I think that it is time the Competiton Commision investigates big insurances companies and their relationships with Panel Beaters and how work is disturbed, and their calculations are made. In the emails from FNB to my client they state that if the vehicle goes to their pane beater of choice the client will not pay an excess but if the vehicle come to us (OUR CLIENTS PANEL BEATER OF CHOICE) they will pay him out, but he will be held liable for his excess.

as a small business when you ask to be put on an insurance panel to get work from them, they give you stories about applications been closed.

Client Claim Number: *** Broker Reference Number: CL***9 Policy Number: ***

This will not be the last FNB hears from us.

Let me Guess this will take weeks to happen.
Will the client is put in an inconvenience by not having a vehicle. And the clients gets the run around from FNB INSURANCE.
Investigate your staff and see who is getting kick backs
