FNB Insurance, caught lying, approving claims only after I ask for recorded calls

I am so sick of FNB trying to dodge responsibility now. At first I had 1 insurance claim when my property was broken into and had the copper pipes ****** and garage ceilings damaged. An inspector was sent out and after a month I still did not hear anything from FNB.

Then a month later after reviewing FNB on HelloPeter, I suddenly start to get responses and movement. At first my claim was rejected.

FNB calls to tell me my 1st claim is being rejected so to fight this I asked for the recorded calls to be shared with me (of my onboarding with the sales agent with FNB short term insurance, as well the claim related calls). Now FNB wakes up and suddenly my claim was suddenly fine to be paid but now with an new excess of R1500 apparently.

I checked my policy documents and told them I would take them to the ombudsman because as the agent was telling me this, I was looking at my policy documents talking about NO EXCESS.

Wow, low and behold now I get another call from FNB telling me had made yet another mistake and that now the claim could be paid out without any excess. To speed things up they now proposed to merge my first break-in claim and the second break in claim.

Again FNB goes radio silent after this- as can be seen above, the time is spent seeing how they can reject or get OUT of paying out claims by rejecting them, hoping clients don't dispute them or ask for the recorded calls, but they are very happy to collect the premiums and might even charge you an excess or 2 if you don't question them.

I call FNB to find out how far we are fulfilling the first claim that was APPROVED after all the hassle and multiple visits to the property; and to find out the progress on the second one; only to hear that all claims are now ON HOLD... again (After being initially rejected, and then approved with an excess, and then approved without one; and then being proposed as a solution to merge both claims by FNB)

Now I get a message from Crash Investigation Group and from the legal phrasing I can see its just another attempt that FNB is now taking to reject all of the claims asking for everything except my blood test results. Really, I cannot think of a more underhanded business than FNB right now. While my property was damaged, they couldn't care less and disappeared. I had to review them after a month to get a response which was a rejection; then I had to fight with them and ask for my recorded calls which got my first claim approved with an excess; I had to send them their own policy document to prove I shouldn't pay an excess before it was dropped and approved. And now FNB put everything on hold again almost 3 months later.

FNB most useless, ***********, annoying and waste of time bank and insurance company.
