FNB INSURANCE : CASE #***
Once again - STAY AWAY FROM FNB INSURANCE!!! CLAIM DATE : 20 JUNE 2023 - FNB CASE #*** A new claim for geyser that burst and again damage to the kitchen ceiling (I suspect that the geyser already had a tiny burst back in December 2022, but the plumbers that were send out did not detect it). Geyser was replaced by John & Grant from a company called Tecron Copper Water Heating (Leo Jamneck being the Operations Assistant). His guys removed the drip tray to fix a valve that was loose (with silicone). They put the tray back, BUT the overflow pipe does not go outside the house. Numerous email followed between myself and all relevant parties - Leo denying that his guys touched the drip tray. No one is coming back to me regarding this. The only emails I receive from FNB are the following :

Good day,
@ Insurance please advise us if we can send our plumber back to site , to extend the driptray overflow as this is not warranty Peril.
Manufadcture Tecron advise they replaced the geyser under warranty on the 23rd June 2023. The client insists the geyser tray was moved when the geyser was replaced, rendering the driptray overflow too short. My team insists that they did not move the driptray. Kindly appoint a contractor to extend the driptray overflow to a satisfactory distance outside the client’s roof. We wait for insurance feedback.
Kind regards Patricia
