FNB Insurance

FNB Insurance is one of the most useless companies under the sun.Poor customer service,poor insurance claims process and the list continues.

After submitting a claim through the FNB insurance portal 3 times it was not captured last week thursday 15/09/2022. I had to call in and manually sumbit a claim for my home contents insurance.

After submitting a claim there is no way of tracking a claim.So Friday they sent out a technician for a Intex Spa error who is clearly not qualified to do the task at hand and has no knowledge of what it even is.

The damage report was sent through on Monday of this week and after calling multiple times yesterday I got to speak with an agent who only told me the claim was rejected because of wear and tear. This is due to a shaft within the Intex spa pump that wore out due to loadshedding and having to start up multiple times throughout a day causing additional strain on the unit.

Refrain from using FNB insurance as they are only in it for the money and not a True South African company understanding the troubles that we face in this country.
