FNB Insurance a ****?

FNB Insurance a ****? We have been Fnb client since we graduated more that 10 years ago.

We bought our house through them, we have life cover bank accounts (numerous facilities) and our short term insurance is with them.. Recently we attended a wedding (we were there from Friday to Sunday) upon our arrival at home, we found our home broken into, every electronic was ****** and the big rifle safe broken out of the wall.

First response security made their way to us within minutes, SAPS blessed us with their presence late that afternoon.

FNB policy indicates that forced entry is required (which we clearly have) and certain items needs to be specified (which has been done accordingly).

The assessor came out Friday the 10th and provided us with proof that he submitted his report on the 13th. Since then we have not received any feedback on the matter.

After I threatened the person not working on our file with the ombudsman, I received a response explaining that they have not started on our file, they are waiting for the docket, they need our ITC checks, cartrack reports to proof that we were out of town and proof of our accommodation (Which we gladly provided).

It has been a month and it is clear that FNB is trying everything not to handle our matter, investigating us rather than threating us as clients.

Our business is clearly not wanted. It was traumatizing enough that people broke into our house poisoned our pets now FNB is threating us like ********s.
