FNB *****ing from their vulnerable clients!!
This specific client is physically disabled and is suffering at the hands of FNB! My brother who is physically disabled (Spinal bifida, Hydrocephalus, Myelomeningocele scoliosis, collapsed lung to mention a few of my brother’s medical complications) receives monthly maintenance from our father at end of every single month for these medical needs. My mother made an arrangement with FNB that the monthly maintenance of R8750.00 is specifically for my brother’s needs thus the funds leave her account immediately into my brother’s account. The funds get into deposited into my mother’s account as she is the applicant and plaintiff at court fighting for my brother’s rights. She provided the maintenance order from Wynberg magistrate’s court and my brother’s doctors reports detailing his medical condition. In case this is not enough enough information to justify why the funds are required; the maintenance money is used for adult nappies, since my brother cannot control his bladder or bowel movement. Catheters, to empty his bladder. Medical expenses for his chronic medication and other necessities. The key question here is, why, when and with whom did the bank decide to change the agreement. FNB’s slogan is “How can we help you” How is holding onto my brother’s maintenance helping a vulnerable innocent person? R8750 is NOT petty cash for us, as it is for FNB and its employees that make have devastating decisions about the lives of the vulnerable. I suppose my brother will have to wear towel for his urine and feces this month. Nevermind, Thato’s medical needs because the bank is all about capital gain and balancing their books. The needs of the vulnerable and disabled are disregarded. This is disgusting and ********* that a disabled person is suffering at the hands of FNB!
