FNB Incompetency and over-reaching

I closed my business down and needed to close my FNB Business Account as well. I have written to FNB Business Banking as I was out of town, on the platform provided on my On-Line Business Banking facility. After not having received any response, have I cancelled all activity including debit orders. Cancellation of debit orders is as valid as the person on the other side's competency is. When three unauthorised debit orders were debited to my business account have I again tried to correspond with FNB Business Banking but with no luck. FNB found it prudent to debit my account with R165.00 per unpaid debit order, the three debit orders came to R190.00 and the FNB penalty thereon amounted to R495.00. The debit orders were subsequently reversed and I was still waiting on a response from FNB Business Banking to close the account. FNB has also levied this month's bank charges of R252.00 against the Account. I eventually had to go to the local Branch who in turn informed me to contact Business Banking directly and gave me a telephone number. I still have not heard from them on my on-line written correspondence and a telephone call did not take this matter further. I again had to go into the branch who informed me that the account can now be closed if I pay next month's bank charges of R252.00. To all businesses out there it cost me R1000.00 to close my FNB Business Account.
