FNB huh, so annoyed 😒

App**** for a bond with Fnb I was approved for 1,2 million and the bank requested that I pay 400k deposit which I did. The bank went as far as requesting certain documents from the seller which cost him close to R60k. I was sent all the documents and signed them as I was happy with the offer. Now out of the blue the bank turns back and tells me they can only offer me R725000 which was not even relayed to me I had to find out when I went to the bank to sign the final documents. So why was I told to pay a deposit if they knew that the terms of the bond have changed? Why was the seller requested by the bank to get certain certificates if they knew that the terms of the bond have been changed from the original. I have been invoiced by the lawyers and that means I'm going to lose out on my deposit money and the seller has incurred costs of which nothing is going to come out of it. I'm so annoyed right now because I feel this bank took me for granted and did not even have the decency to notify me of the changes so that I can make a better decision. So my time was wasted, the seller's time was wasted, the lawyer's time was wasted and the agent's time was wasted. I need this to be fixed either you give me the agreed amount or you as a bank will have to cover all the costs that all involved parties have incurred due to your incompetence.
