FNB How can we ***** your money.
On Saturday 17 Feb my wife went to African bank to make a payment using our FNB cheque account card which had an available amount of R10700. African bank swiped the card for the amount of R6229.37. It was declined and the amount was reversed back into my account. The bank lady then said lets try a different amount and swiped it for R5000 and rejected again. R5000 reversed back into my account. The bank lady then said lets try R4000 maybe you are over budget but also rejected. My wife then went and draw R5000 from ATM and paid African bank, It now shows that I have a balance of R5700 which is correct. Next day she bought some groceries at President Hyper and its declined due to insufficient funds. Balance is R4768.64 minus in overdraft. R10400 has just disappeared from my account overnight without any notifications . Went to the bank Monday morning, no we have nothing on our computers not even the transactions and its sorry we cant help you. Leave it 3 days and it will be right. 4th day we phoned head office they said your branch should have given you a form to fill in, Back to branch fill in form, Your money will be back in your account in 48 hours from now. 2 Weeks later still no money and nobody to help you, Krugersdorp manager absolutely useless and no care. I have been retrenched company closed down and money is scarces. My uif now got paid into my account and also a small pension. They took that money to pay the R4700 in overdraft. I dont have an overdraft facility. Whats the matter with these people. Is there nobody that check these things. Its all no care because its work they have to do and untrained people in positions they shouldnt be in. I have my rent to pay, water and lights etc. and I cant. People beware this is a useless bank full of prommisses until they got you hooked. I promise if my money doesnt show in my account Monday morning i'm going to the media with my transactions and open a ******** case at the police. I'm sick of this its time it gets splashed out in newspapers and electronic media what we have to put up with.Everybody makes mistakes but you rectify it as soon as posible. Not ignore it and say why should I fix it, forgetting its people like us that use the bank who pays your salary. I mean 2 weeks and not a word? FNB sucks. Its sick
