FNB - How can we show you our laziness?

<p>Ok, so I wasn't going to do this, but I just had to.. My wife and I are in the process of applying for a home loan, you would think the bank that we both bank with, would make it the easiest for us. My wife has the bulk of her salary deposited into her FNB account and a small amount deposited into another bank, bank account.</p> <p> </p> <p>Strike 1 : FNB requires my wife to send through a letter from her employer, and her IRP 5 .</p> <p>-- I let that slide, even though no other bank asked for that, but granted, maybe they have a different process, I am understanding right.</p> <p> </p> <p>STRIKE 2 = 2 strikes -- This I couldn't let go, a few days after my wife sent through whatever they wanted, they come back and ask her to highlight on her "other bank" statement her salary deposits. Ok, so I thought maybe its a long statement, and they are struggling to find it it, HA HA, I opened the statement and low and behold its one page long and the transactions are called SALARY.I saw them in a few seconds.. That is sheer laziness, my wife still marked the transactions and re-sent it to them.. That is super lazy service, especially as we are existing FNB clients. Another bank has already offered 100% bond and went to evaluate the property yesterday and didn't ask for any extra documentation. SHAME ON YOU FNB!</p>
