FNB “How can we **** you” instead of FNB “how can we help you”

I’m expressing my sincere dissatisfaction and disappointment with FNB. I’ve seen other clients complaining about FNB debiting in their business, personal accounts ********ly. In my case it’s worse. I started banking with FNB back in 2013 under business account division. But hey guess what? All these years from 2014. FNB has been ********ly transacting in my business account with transactions reference #Excess items fee? I picked that up last year in early December and I made an enquiry through their call center though some of the consultants couldn’t detail me as in like why are these transactions transacted. I quickly asked for an escalation to their senior whom when I spoke to him. He quickly realized that I was ********ly charged and a reversal enquiry was filed. Three days later the money was reversed in full. Not too sure about the figures but it was more than R800 and these amounts were debuted in November early. Now towards the end of December FNB uninvited came back to my business account and striked again debiting R156, R565, R50 under transaction detail #Excess items fee. That’s when I started panicking. I called the business call center department and made an enquiry. Before I did that. I checked my previous statements via email as to what was happening, only to find that these transactions started a while back. It took it upon myself to call them and made an enquiry. I was told that; I must review my statements and make a full enquiry about all the transactions that occurred. Now when I started screening these transactions that had #Excess items fee. I couldn’t believe my eyes. They started back in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and currently I’m still experiencing such charges. Right one of the consultant under business department told me that the main reason why I’m charged these fees is simple because I tend to use my card for purchases while I’m on R0.00 balance available and that’s when FNB would cover that up by stepping in and pay for my transactions. I was like; how possible is that? My business account doesn’t have an overdraft. We don’t have even a single debit. We don’t even have a loan from it. So how is it possible that if I’m on R0.00 and decide to purchase something the transaction can be successful? When I told him that, he failed to proceed with the conversation and hang up. Again through all these transactions from 2014 up until now the estimated total is plus minus R8000.00 to R9000.00. And I was told that these transactions are too outdated they can’t be reversed. My statement was; this is my hard earned money. I need it. I’m not negotiating with FNB but I need it to be paid in full. And out of all these. I have incurred too much costs trying to make a follow up about these transactions.

1. I’m a Vodacom prepaid subscriber; I don’t own an Telekom line. I’ve utilized so much airtime calling the business call center. 2. When I started conducting the audit about these #Excess items fee via online banking; I was charged for more than almost R400.00 to R700.00 for downloading the statements online. My question is; for me initially there was no need to download the statements. The main cause for this statement retrieval’s was none other than FNB itself. If they didn’t debit ********ly in my account. I wouldn’t be retrieving the statements. So I don’t understand why would I be charged for retrieving the statements. 3. A formal reversal dispute has been filed, but it is dragging. I don’t understand how so, I mean all those transactions that I filed for reversals. FNB itself has all the evidence online to prove that these transactions weren’t fabricated all. I just don’t understand why would it take more than 7 working days for my reversals to be retransacted back to the rightful owner. 4. I haven’t received any formal telophonic conversation detailing me on what’s happening. And I’ve been too formal with FNB calling, emailing about my enquiry but hey they don’t take me serious.

This is my third attempt to grab their attention. I’m fully confident that I’m entitled to these amounts that were transacted ********ly. FNB has to do the right thing and return what is due to my company.

As for; the matter is still under investigations. I’m not gonna entertain that. What investigations? I mean they have all the proof in my online statements. Nothing was fabricated. The amounts, the dates do correspond with what I gave them.

I’m kindly asking Hellopeter to intervene in this mater. In fact it’s time that FNB is taught a lesson and exposed for victimizing their clients. All the expenses that I incurred while enquiring, making a follow up, calling, emailing, statements retrieval; FNB is liable for those fees not me. I’m not the cause. I can’t incur such charges while I’m victimized. That’s an unfairly move by FNB. As for further investigations, sorry I’m not going to entertain that. I just need my money to be reversed in full. After that I’m closing all my FNB accounts. From there I’m gonna publish in every social media platform through video interactions, Twitter, Facebook, video interactions, audios on how I have been victimized by FNB all these years unknowingly. I’m gonna start a movement too detailing people on how they have to be vigilant when it comes to FNB.
