FNB how can we rob you?

Well...FNB has now officially ticked me off..A few months ago I received a phone call saying..you can now upgrade to fnb premier...Me having been a fnb fan for a while agrees...Little did I know, that "yes" would cost me alot of phonecalls, interaction with what appears to be uncaring or incompotent workers at a fnb branch and most of all HUNDREDS of rands in ebucks.....

WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU.
If you have a gold account and love being on ebucks level 5, once you get upgraded, your reward level will drop probably to a 3.. from getting 3 to 4 hundred rand a month in ebucks, you will be lucky to get 100 rand...

I am not usually a angry customer and after a month when I noticed this..I kindly phoned in and got bounced around from department to department like a ping pong ball, each department saying I should talk to the other. Eventually someone helped me and basically said I can only get back to level 5 if I revert my account back to gold.. I agreed, and thought the horror was over...

I waited another month, and I still was on level 3, I then said to myself, let me just go into the branch, these call centers are not helping, boy was I fooling myself.....I went to a branch in the umhlanga area and even spoke to the branch manager..They consoled me by telling me my account indeed has been downgraded to Gold and I just have to wait another month...

Another month goes by, and yet again I'M STILL REWARD LEVEL 3.. I then checked my credit card statement and it tells me my card is a fnb premier credit card..hmmm maybe its just a name i thought, surely the call centres and branches can't be silly to leave me with just a downgraded cheque card and leave my premier credit card as is, knowing I will incur extra unnecessary costs for doing this and still be stuck on reward level 3 costing me hundreds of rands every month..surely they are here to help? after all their catch phrase is.. "How can we help you"...THATS EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID.NOW I HAVE TO GET ANOTHER FNB CREDIT CARD AND WAIT ANOTHER MONTH, because the branch failed to recognize that the call center only downgraded my cheque account and not the credit card..WHICH DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF THE DOWNGRADE.

There is more **** to this story, but im tired of typing.. FNB has cost me I estimate close to if not a thousand rand worth of ebucks over these last few months, through plain BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wish when they say, "How can we help you" they actually meant it.!

GUESS WHAT! 3 Weeks later and FNB STILL HAS FAILED to reimburse me. They promised to get it done by earlier this week, but the day has come and gone, the ebucks cycle is gone. I was super polite and patient with them, and it has got be MORE bad customer service. The consultant I was dealing with apologized after me emailing him twice, to get a response, he said he is escalating the matter as I was meant to get back my ebucks, i demanded an update by end of day(yesterday), and got no reply.. I guess to FNB, im not that important right.

I don't understand why this is so difficult.. NOW, i have to ask, this is my time, to type this, time spent on the phone with FNB, and MONEY that I should have I don't have. ALL of this i want to be compensated for. I want this sorted out NOW, not in another 3 weeks.

So once again, i was promised by LATEST tuesday, i will have my ebucks, but today is tuesday and guess what... STILL HASN'T HAPPENED.. and why are you guys so non-responsive on email? Muhammed sent me a mail, I rep**** asking him something, and no response, I send him another email, and still no response.. A few days later, he will come back saying apologies for the delay and answer none of the questions I ask him, instead giving me another promise that doesn't get fulfilled..

I am seriously considering switching banks now, my wife, mom, sister and lots of my friends bank with FNB, this is terrible customer service..

Good Day Mr Naicker,

I trust you are well.

Kindly be advised that our systems were down hence the delay.Ebucks are aware and working on this matter. We have escalated to the relevant manager and was advised that the delay is with admin as it is a lengthy process but you will get your ebucks credited. Sorry for the frustration caused.

So what was FNB meant to do if your systems are down? Give me a call and let me know, that's the right thing to do.Not make me wait knowing I'm getting nothing.

I have given you one more star, still poor service, no one even told me that my ebucks has been reimbursed, no one has confirmed if I happy.

Daffnie, there is a totally unrelated matter, i want to take up with FNB,.. Can you give me a call, thanks.
