FNB How can we not help you or just take your money.

People do not change bank to FNB. You are not doing yourself a favour. I took a temprary loan with FNB this month, and my account had to go into arrears, to cover for a medical bill I had to pay. For the temporary loan, I have 30 days to pay back, which I tool out around 30 January 2017. Because of the arrears, I got a message from FNB about this, which is normal. I then tried for 2 days to get hold of someone at FNB so that I can let them know that I made arrangements to pay into my aco****, which will cover the arrears my account is in. I am phone by an FNB system, not a person, a system to tell me that I have to make payment immediately. I tried again, 6 calls 3 not answered and for the other 3 I left 3 messages. I was never called back by a consultant. The next thing is that Debit Orders just get dishonoured, although I made arrangements and made more than 10 calls to FNB to confirm the arrangements. I did everything I can from my part, I was on my way to a branch of FNB when this happened. I am still waiting to be called, but in the mean time I paid the money to cover for the arrears into the account afte the funds cleared out of an investment. Guess what, they go and take the temporary loan of the account, which I have 30 days for to pay. I took it on 30 January 2017. Today it is 7 February 2017. I am not sure about my maths, bit it is not 30 days. Now I am in trouble, because I still have to pay the Debit Orders that FNB dishonoured, but they take off the loan amount. Don't tell me they did not know that I needed the rest of the money to pay the dishonoured debit orders. They are the bank that my account is with. How can we help you, I don't think so. They just do what they want. Other banks actually have a person phone you to talk to you, to find out what is going on with your account, and then ask you if you made arrangements. WHen I took a temprary loan with ABSA, they took the money for the temporary loan off the account on the 30th day, even though I had enough money in the accoutn for them to do it earlier. Thank you FNB for putting me in trouble now. I cannot pay the accounts now, and will loose those services because of you. On my Homeloan, which is a Flexi bond, I paid extra money into last month. Seeing that it is a Flexi Bond, according to my contract, that money should show in the account as available. The problem is that it is not showing, so where did that money go? Please people be careful of FNB. They only care about themselves. How can we help you is just a saying, it does not really apply. Think twice and even three times before you consider them as a bank. I rue the day I moved to this bank. I am not sure what I am going to do now to resolve the unpaid accounts because FNB took the money I had to use to do this. I can tell you now if I phone them about this, they will just quote terms and conditions at me and that it was within their right to do this. As I said, I did not experience ever that terms and conditions was quoted at me from ABSA. I was always helped and tehy went out of their way to assist me. It is a long time since I have been so disappointed. I really don't know what I am going to do.
