FNB – How can we NOT help you - ARRANGEMENTS ARE MEANINGLESS

First National Bank – How can we NOT help you?

ARRANGEMENTS ARE MEANINGLESS

What is the point of making arrangements with your bank if it is a complete waste of time? The slogan ‘HOW CAN WE NOT HELP YOU’ suites FNB much better, FNB actually deliver exactly what they say then.

On 29 March 2018 I called FNB on ********** 479 regarding my account to make the necessary arrangements with FNB not to return my debit orders until Friday, 6 April 2018 with reference number RW ********** 23371. I tried multiple times to contact Masechaba Makopo on ********** 751 to make the necessary arrangement as the previous month but had no luck getting hold of her. An email was send and read on 29 March 2018 with no response and only a read report received 4 April 2018 (proof thereof). My debit orders were not returned as agreed on 4 April 2018. To my shocking discovery that FNB returned all my debit orders today 4 April 2018 yet dated the 3 April 2018. Can FNB please inform me how this is possible????????? And after funds was available. Can FNB please explain why they are not assisting their clients, or better, at least keep to the arrangements that they agreed with. Is this because it is ‘easy money’ which they ***** from clients so they can at least stay in business? I honestly believe that this was done because of pure spitefulness, and the fact that they do not want to assist in any way. FNB are good for one thing, charging for NO ASSISTANCE.

Please be advised that when there are no funds available in the account to accommodate for debit orders, the items are returned as unpaid automatically by the system. Please note that as the business banker explained, there is no guarantee that the bank will honour debit orders when there are no funds available in the account. Please note that the unpaid debit order fees are also automatically charged by the system.
