FNB - HOW CAN WE NOT HELP YOU

FNB opened their SAFT applications on 6 April 2020. I duly app**** on 6 April 2020. Did not hear from anyone for a while. Called FNB only to be told that there is no dedicated line/email address/department that I could be transferred to.

Suddenly I start receiving numerous messages telling me to check the app or online. Did that & could not figure out why, as there were no updates or instructions. Eventually got to finalise step 2 on the application. Then more messages telling you to check the app or online. Once again no updates or further instructions when you actually log in.

Received an SMS congratulating me that I am eligible for SAFT funding. You would think that when you receive such all would be ok. NO you're wrong. Continue to receive those cryptic messages and nothing yet. One would thinks that by this stage that a loan agreement of sorts would be sent to you - GUESS AGAIN!

Then I receive a call from someone at FNB saying things would be looked into and followed up - still no loan agreement materialised. Then get a sms telling me that money all dispensed & I would not be receiving anything.

When you try to find out how is it that if you've app**** on the FIRST day and was told that you was eligible to receive funding, that you're now suddenly told by FNB, to take a hike - NO ONE RESPONDS TO YOU.

I have my personal account with FNB, my business account as well as my one vehicle is financed through Wesbank.

Guess FNB does not need my loyalty or business anymore.
