FNB how can we NOT help you?

On 16 July 2016, I tried to activate my FNB account as it was inactive. As I didn't have a ny proof or residential address a consultant at Soshanguve Crossing Branch gave me a form for my mother to sign as declaration that I stay with her. Then on 18 July 2016 I went to the Pretoria branch (my branch) to activate it with R500 that was requested and I was toldmy account is actually closed. Now how possible is that no one bothered to tell me that fron the onset? Since the electricity bill I had was 3 days over it's due date and knowing that due to the unrests in Soshanguve regarding the Tshwane Mayor, no statements were sent throught for 2 months now. My salary will be deposited in this FNB "CLOSED" bank account on 20 July 2016 and now I'm told it will bounce back because my account is closed. Really FNB, that's how you help your clients? I mean I had money to re-open theaccount but hey treat me like a stranger. Some help Igot there!

I went to FNB Boulders branch in Midrand to get some help as I was told to do so. I had the proof of residential address and money to deposit into the account so it can be re-opened for my salary to go in on the 20th, but guess what...THE TELLERS WERE OFFLINE!!!I give up!
