FNB HOW CAN WE NOT HELP YOU

I recently visited your Cresta Branch and was assisted by a friendly consultant with a query I had. The consultant advised me it would be best to consolidate all my debt into one loan therefore I could save on paying different interest rates and service and concentrate on paying one amount. I never went into the branch to apply for this I went in to resolve a totally different query which was resolved. The consultant advised me to consider this consolidation loan, so I agreed to proceed and apply for it. I later received feedback that the loan was declined. I then decided to try other banks as I have been let down from past experiences with FNB and got joy from other financial institutions, as with my home loan Standard Bank approved my home loan 3% less interest than FNB. To my surprise I was approved by other banks and they were willing to assist me with a consolidation loan, not that I needed it, I was advised by your consultant it would be best and yet get declined by FNB and approved by other banks. Pathetic service from FNB I will definately consider moving my account after 15 years of banking with you, this is definitely not the way to treat your long standing clients.
