FNB How can we help you ? What a joke !
I contacted my personal TEam of bankers via the APP on 2 July 2018 and informed them that I was having an issue with my previous medical aid provider still deducted fees from my account Since May 2018 . This resulted in fees not being available and returned payment charges added to my account . I requested that these debit orders please be blocked as I have cancelled with them months ago and should not be debiting my account. In the meantime I was in contact with the medical aid provider who has only yesterday confirmed everything is finally in order and I would no longer be subject to unauthorized debit orders from their side , this however is still a problem for me as I was Charged the late order fees. Today I received an SMS from FNB stating that my account is in excess and if it is not rectified within 5 days they will be proceeding with lawyers.
I find this absolutely disgusting I informed my bank their is an issue asked them to stop the debit orders from going through but the consultant said they could not stop debit orders it has to be stopped by the company debiting . So after being made aware of the issues im facing I am being threatened for my account being in excess.
With all the returned payment charges and stop payment requests from me it comes to R680.00. In this is why my account is in excess. I can understand if it was 30 days in excess maybe before you start threatening people !! Instead of threatning me maybe you could assist in helping how the returned fees is reversed on my account as this is not my fault but the service providers who kept debiting my account after cancelling.
FNB How can we help you ? What a joke !
