FNB How can we help you? - Self-employed applying for a home loan we can't help based on opinion formalised over 30 working days

Submitted ALL required documentation on 2016/11/03 applying for home loan. On 2016/11/16 call centre enquiry feedback due to outstanding application , financials docs cant be indexed. Submitted all docs again. Follow-ups with consultant no response 28/11/16 decline letter received reason applicants expenditure exceeded income. FNB credit duplicated all applicant expenses. Applicant appealed, appeal allowed. Follow-ups with consultant no response. Call centre feedback 2016/12/01 applicant income can't be verified on financials(after submitting payslips, bankstatements, IT34's, external auditor income confirmation)Business financials non-current assests which includes goodwill does not form part of the review to determine sustainabilty of business, even though the business is not the applicant. Current assets such as inventory and debtors are compared to total liability concluding that the business financial position is not good. Final decline letter received dated 2016/12/14 same as letter received on 2016/11/28 just the date has been changed. Confusing since 1st letter was appealed and excepted. As qualified professionals with premier fnb account, business account and trust acccount, exceptional credit record was not considered due to the SELF EMPLOYED branding. It took FNB 30working days to decline application not reviewing financials in full, waisting time and effort on all supporting documents requested but not considered. REF*** applicants account all in good standing with FNB but NO was how we were answered, ending right where we started with an allowed appeal but same rejection after 30days. Very dissapointed FNB client suppose I will never consider the how can we help you? as an option again even though FNB was our bank of choice and did not even consider applying elsewhere. If application at another bank turns out to be successfull it will confirm the current service delivery of FNB homeloans as being very poor and we as clients are numbers not adding value.
