FNB: How can we help you into more debt with GLA

I have escalated this matter on email on 26 June 2017 to both GLA and FNB. The lady at FNB responded that she no longer works in complaints and gave me the incorrect email address to escalate the matter. I searched an complaints email address for FNB and again included GLA.

On Saturday (1 July) a debit order of R5,302.09 was taken from my bank account (without AUTHORITY) giving me a big shock as I still have to budget for the rest of the month where I have an agreement of R700 per month with GLA. I immediately went to my nearest FNB branch and were told that it is for the credit card and that it cannot be reversed.

My husband and I made alternative arrangements becuase I am just so FED-UP with GLA and FNB and decided that FNB must keep the money and settle my card.

GLA phoned me and 'logged a query with FNB' to get a settlement letter for me.

To my suprise (ha ha ha - not really) I received a SMS from GLA thanking me for my R5 300 (not the additional R2.09) and that I must REMEMBER TO MAKE THE NEXT PAYMENT AS ARRANGED.

I DONT OWE GLA OR FNB ANYTHING - this is not the first time that BOTH GLA AND FNB is '*****ing' me for THEIR errors.

I want a settlement letter from both FNB and GLA confirming that the account is closed and I owe no monies.

If I do not get this then I will seek legal assistance as I am more than tired of this banking issue.

Desire Prins
