FNB How can they help you OR How can the help themselves
I had to do a reversal on my account. Normally and FNB will tell you that it will cost you R20.00 for a reversal. Fair. However after completing those reversal i was charged a whooping R75.00 per reversal. I called the call centre next day to onform about those. The had a look an agreed that i was charged incorrectly but this was due to a system error. I was promised that the additional money will be replaced within 48hours. However this was not the case. I gave them a week but still nothing, I called again and was told that the agent who helped me the first time provided me with the incorrect info. It takes 7 days to Resolve. Up untill this minute nothing.
Now i could have called again, but then i though for a while. If this was a system error, and it happened to lets say 20 000 .00 FNB customer, where FNB is taking an additional R35.00 per customer. Lets do some calculations
20 000 customers @ R35.00 per customer = R700.000.00 going into their account, if left for seven days an lets say accumulating interest at lets say 3% that will give them a return of R21,000.00 WOW really clever business strategy, and believe me my wife banks with FNB she was charged for her service fee, another "System Error" conveniently .......
