FNB Housing Finance

I would like to express how upset I am with FNB and the what they have done. I app**** for a house through a housing project and it was approved a few days ago R629900. Because of the monthly repayment amount we decided to cancel the application. I still received sms's that the application is still continuing and I mailed FNB yesterday and they rep**** to say that the application has been cancelled.

Today when I do a credit check I noticed that the bond of R629900 is listed there and I never accepted the offer and also cancelled the application and got confirmation. How can FNB list the bond on ITC when I never confirmed that I accepted or declined. We decided to go through a estate agent and app**** for a property and they will be submitting supporting documents to FNB first and then all other banks and with ITC showing a bond that should not be there, it will surely be declined. If this is the service we are getting from FNB then why are we still banking with them.

My wife and I both bank with FNB and have no debt with them and this is the service we get. Things like this delays everything and now I have to phone and email around to get this sorted and because of this we now have to wait "24 to 48 working hours" or "7-10 days" as they like to put it. We never did this, FNB did this and it needs to be rectified today

We dont want this to affect our current application process for a homeloan and that bond should be removed from ITC immediately.

We would like to apologise for jumping the gun and complaining and would also like to retract the complaint and what we said. We received a call from one of the managers of FNB Housing finance and he explained to me in detail the process and what will happen going forward.

Great service we received and from everyone who assisted in this regard and we will be here to stay for good. Thank you FNB

Good day. What I was hoping and assured would not happen, actually happened. I was told by the manager of Housing Finance that because my application was cancelled, it will not affect my new application and it will be a much smoother process because all the information is on the system including the cancellation and that the consultant might not een do a credit check. The application was submitted to day and declined immediately with :affordability" being the reason.

Why am I being told one thing and then another thing is being done. I am not going to change the rating because this I think was just ignorance.

Please address asap
