FNB hopeless.
So FNB reverse all my debit orders. But i have funds available and can prove it. I try and contact them but that is completely hopeless. Cannot talk to anyone, accounts is not available. My mobile app doesn't work the way they say it does. i was charged R110 for every reversed debit order that was incorrectly reversed. The FNB is completely hopeless. cant talk to them, get sent in circles with machines and automated options that just dont work.

04 Aug 2020, 08:07It is now 24 hours and still no communications. debit orders not fixed, charges not reversed. Typical. Apologies is not enough. This is unacceptable and i am a private banking client. Such bad treatment of your clients!!!!

04 Aug 2020, 09:49I am now receiving notes from my debtors and will shortly be cut off on certain services. The exposure to such risks is completely unacceptable. FNB dos not care a fig about their clients.

05 Aug 2020, 10:45It is now Wednesday morning and i have called the customer help line. They told me that they usually respond within 48 hours. what they fail to explain and only did so this morning is that they mean 48 working hours which is 6 days..... totally laughable if it wasn't so serious. Apparently premier are investigating but have failed to call me for any relevant evidence or information. Really?

I have unequivocal and unquestionable proof that funds were available DATE AND TIME STAMPED. yet FNB chose to reverse them all and charge me R110 for each. They have reversed 2 of the 6 charges and partially only for 2 more. Why partial... heaven knows. I would not recommend FNB to anyone. Like all the large banks they just don't care. Gone are the days of personal service even if you are a private banking client???????
