FNB Homeloans - Wake Up!

On 18 May 2017, I have notified FNB that we are cancelling our existing bond with them as we are going to sell our property.

As per FNB, the notice must be placed 90 days in advance to avoid any penalties.

Since this is standard practice to notify the insitution you are borrowing from of your intentions; it should be straight forward to determine the outstanding value etc.

To date FNB has yet to contact me in this regard. I have followed up on many occasions and have sent them information as they requested without any progress.

FNB, stop sending me automated mails with lousy excuses of backlogs etc. and get your people to do their jobs. Pick up the telephone. More than two weeks have gone by but we are still stuck at the first step.

Pathethic.
