FNB Homeloans Useless Customer Services

Formal Complaint Regarding Unauthorized Debit Order and Substandard Banking Services re FNB.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by FNB Bank, particularly the Home Loan Department, as well as the overall quality of their banking services.

1. Unauthorized Debit Order I recently discovered an unauthorized debit order instituted by your Home Loan Department. This action was taken without my consent or prior notification. 2. Substandard Banking Services The quality of your banking services has deteriorated to an unacceptable level. Specifically:

a) Long Queues: The waiting times at your branch offices are excessively long and unmanageable. It is unacceptable that customers must waste hours of their day to perform simple banking tasks. This demonstrates a clear lack of respect for your clients' time and a failure to properly staff your branches.

b) Non-functional Mobile App: Your mobile banking application, which should provide a convenient alternative to in-person banking, is plagued with issues. The app consistently fails to process queries and complaints, rendering it useless for addressing customer concerns. This forces customers to visit branches in person, exacerbating the queue problem mentioned above.

3. Unresponsive Customer Service Attempts to resolve these issues through your customer service channels have been futile. My queries and complaints have gone unanswered, further highlighting your bank's disregard for customer satisfaction.

Dear FNB Management,

I am writing to express my appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Sonja at your Greenacres branch in Port Elizabeth. Her professionalism, expertise, and dedication to customer care were truly commendable. Sonja went above and beyond to address my needs, demonstrating the kind of service that builds customer loyalty.

While I am grateful for Sonja's efforts, I feel compelled to address a broader concern regarding the overall quality of service at FNB. Unfortunately, Sonja's level of service appears to be the exception rather than the rule. It has become increasingly apparent that there is an endemic problem with customer service across the bank, which I believe stems from management decisions at the highest levels.

The lack of emphasis on customer satisfaction is evident in many of my interactions with FNB. Long wait times, inadequate resolution of issues, and a general sense of indifference to customer needs have become all too common. These problems suggest a systemic issue that cannot be attributed solely to individual employees but rather points to a failure in leadership and organizational culture.

I urge FNB's top management to reevaluate its priorities and place a stronger emphasis on customer satisfaction. This should include:

1. Implementing comprehensive customer service training programs

2. Establishing clear performance metrics tied to customer satisfaction

3. Creating systems that empower employees to resolve customer issues efficiently

4. Regularly soliciting and acting upon customer feedback

By addressing these issues at a management level, FNB has the opportunity to transform its service culture and regain the trust and loyalty of its customers. Employees like Sonja demonstrate that excellent service is possible; it's now up to leadership to make it the norm rather than the exception.

I hope this feedback will be taken in the constructive spirit in which it is intended. I remain a customer of FNB and sincerely wish to see improvements that will benefit all stakeholders.
