I am confused. Why is my account standing at one place despite the fact that I make big payments monthly??

My monthly instalment is said to be R1479.12 but as you can see I have been paying over and above but my balance is not moving, this has been happening for too long now.

My balance on the 12 Aug 2022 was R40.090.23 Total instalment paid for Aug was R8500, I then made another R5000 payment on the 24 Sep. My statement dated 25 Sep is still standing at a balance of R R40.090.23

What happened to the R13 500 that I paid between 8Aug and Sep??

at ombudsman kindly look into this issue please I have been having problems with this account for too long now. There was a time where an amount of R100 000 was deposited into this account as payment of which I had already been paying for years pre and proceeding that.

The loan agreement was just R250 000 and I took this loan amount in 2017, it’s 2022 and I am still paying this account though as mentioned tht a lump sum of 100 000 was deposited into this account in 2018 of which I was already paying every month in 2017 and also continued paying all the years post 2018 upto now, making big payments.

Can someone please look into this account, I am extremely dissatisfied with how FNB is balancing my account.
