FNB Homeloans don't operate on good faith.

I have been a client of FNB for more than 15 years and have taken most banking products with them. I took a bond with them in 2015, and now I wanted to buy a bigger property, I decided to do the application with them again. This was also motivated by their 'Move Home Not Your Home Loan' benefit. The bond application successful and approved on 100%. Some conditions had to be met before everything could be concluded. One of the conditions was pending sale of my existing property. I took occupation of the property I was buying because their tenant had moved out and owner resides in another province. This was also to ensure safety of the house while lawyers where busy with transfer, and also give space for agent to sell my townhouse. A lot of delays came from what the bank wanted and was provided. Finally their lawyers(NAM-FORD attorneys) called me to come sign the contract. To my surprise a week later the same lawyers call and tell me they are changing the approved loan and reducing by R10000 because there's a condition on the OTP which stated the agent will assist me with R10000 towards transfer fees, and now I have redo the entire application. What's more frustrating is the fact that I had negotiated that condition with the said agent and not the seller. Now the agent says they won't give that condition anymore. What’s worse is the fact that my townhouse has now been sold, and the property I’m purchasing has already paid municipality clearance. Because of FNB and their lame lawyers who don’t operate in good faith I don’t have a home but now am renting. I do not recommend people to trust FNB home loan processes, now I wish I had approached other banks before trusting FNB. What a waste of my time

I would like to report the matter has been swiftly resolved and I'm once again a happy client of FNB.
