FNB Homeloans

Terrible service firstly from Vishal Binessaree at FNB Homeloans and secondly and more importantly AGAIN from FNB as a whole. I submitted my application on 10.04.2017 to Vishal. I was told 5-7 working days to COMPLETION, including property valuation. I asked for feedback on 12.04.2017, no reply. I asked for feedback via mail and landline again on 18.04.2017. Got a reply your system was down, would get back to me when the 1st assesment was done. I called landline and cellphone numbers for Vishal on 26.04.2017 as I had not recieved feedback, no answer to messages left, no one in the office, no one to tell me that Vishal was apparently on leave. Not even an auto response email to the mail I sent on 02.05.2017. I had to contact my private banker to get Vishal to call me. Which he did this afternoon, 03.05.2017. Absolutely unacceptable from his side as well as anyone he works with that was supposed to get back to me while he was away, pathetic service all round.

Next up, FNB and FNB homeloans as a whole. You rejected my application, because of affordability and completely overlooking what can be done to help me consolidate and make the monthly payments I need to. I have recently settled over R150000 in debt with you guys, and continue to pay my credit card, overdraft, and revolving loans on time without defaulting, for over 3-4 years now I believe, never failed once, yet you refuse to help me with any applications for vehicle or home. I want someone who can actually help me personally with my homeloan, understand what I need, not using a stupid computer system to work out what I can clearly afford.

IF YOU DO NOT READ THIS MAIL CORRECTLY and get some idiot to contact me, or my private banker who can never help me with anything anyway, I will be closing my accounts with you as soon as I get my homeloan elsewhere. As they say, not a threat, just a gaurantee. Lets see if the "most innovative bank in SA" can keep a client by actually be innovative.
