FNB HOME LOANS - A BIG WASTE OF MY TIME, RATHER MOVE MY WHOLE PORTFOLIO TO ANOTHER BANK

Dear FNB, This is my second review since 24 Jan 2022, I still have not received any helpful service form your Consultants or Service Manager since Last year Nov 2021.

It seems that they had my application paperwork wrong after which they sent me from one consultant to another.

I tried so many times to explain to them that I am applying for both the property and the building loan and not only for the property or the building of the house, and yet again they can't seem to understand it.

I have Sold my house last year and closed my previous bond with FNB, where I was approved for double what I'm being offered now. How can this be? It does not even make any sense??

According to the FNB consultant, my credit score doesn't qualify for a decent loan with FNB, after a request from FNB to reduce some of my other Credit facilities in order to better my affordability towards the building loan. After complying with this request it was still not good enough. Why then would I be requested to reduce other credit facilities if I am still not granted the pr-approved amount for the building loan? Not only was I notified on Sunday afternoon that a debit order was Registered for the Bond that has not yet been lodged at the deed's office, on top of that there will be no funds made available for the property, towards the seller, on the date of registration. How on earth will this be possible, for even the transfer attorneys advise me that the paperwork can't be right and FNB should take serious effort into this matter.

I already received some quotes from other Major banks, their service, I must say, was far more professional and swift. The other Major banks were able to give me a Quote in 48 Hours, not even mentioning it being a far better offer. And , with regret, I chose to keep on banking with FNB, with the lesser offer.

Although this transaction has left a bad taste in my mouth, I'm willing to give FNB one last chance to rectify this mess, If the issue is not resolved by the end of business on Tuesday feb 8 2022, it will reflect the level of value that I carry to FNB, and FNB will leave me with no choice but to take my business elsewhere.
