FNB home loans

We have been banking with FNB since before it was even FNB (Barclays). We have 2 home loans through FNB, and wanted to cancel our one, when moving house, and app**** for a new home loan for much less than the previous one. It took FNB over 2 weeks to approve the loan, and at a higher rate than 3 other banks which had given us approval within 2 working days. We told them to lower the rate to what we were currently on. They didn't even come close. And it took another week just to come with the counter offer. We almost had our purchase deal fall through due to waiting on FNBs completely useless and *********** home loan dept. We have just accepted Nedbanks offer and I am now looking to switch my private and business banking to another bank. FNB, you cannot operate like this and expect to keep your customers.
