FNB Home Loan Switch - Promised benefit not received

I switched my home loan from ABSA to FNB. As part of the promotion, I was promised a refund of R6,100 in eBucks for transfer costs, provided my salary was deposited into my primary FNB account, which also debits the home loan repayments. I moved my salary to FNB before the new home loan was transferred, and the first payment was deducted on 1 October 2024.

We are now in the fourth month since the first payment, and I still have not received this benefit. I have tried to resolve this issue through the FNB consultants who handled the transfer, but I am now extremely frustrated as I have not received any answers. I don’t know the current status of this matter, whether it has been escalated, if/when/how it will be resolved, or when I will receive the promised rebate as outlined in the home loan contract.

Update: After posting my review, FNB contacted me and promised to investigate the issue. They later informed me that the problem would be resolved and that I would receive the eBucks by the end of the month. I’m pleased to report that the issue has been resolved, and the eBucks are now reflected in my account. Thank you to the individuals who helped resolve this matter. It’s unfortunate that it had to be escalated to HelloPeter to receive the necessary attention, but I’m glad it’s finally been resolved.
