FNB holds onto its card

So FNB states that I am automatically approved for a credit card. Then stacks the deck against me, a retired HOME OWNER with irregular rental income but certainly enough money to repay monthly CC debt. I let my credit card lapse so presumed a reissue would be automatic. Ha! I presumed there would be loyalty based on our decades-long relationship and all the interest I paid them on my home loan. Fool me! Time to move on, as Capitec would say.
