FNB HL
I’ve had a home loan with FNB for a couple of years now. However I have come across some difficulties thus putting my ability to continue paying in danger. I contacted FNB to work out payment plans and we ended up resorting to putting the house on the market via the Quick sell option. An agent was sent and pictures were taken. However, over 3 months later, this property has no advert anywhere online listed for sale. I contacted FNB and a Quick sell agent named Abdullah Desai confirmed on email to me that this property has been approved for the Quick sell process and estate agents will be calling me. This was in the 23rd of November. No one has called or reached out. I ended up contacting an agent on my own personal capacity and listed the property for sale on two different platforms. I now get sms’s on a daily from FNB threatening me of the property being sold on auction. I then went through the debt management route where a debt counsellor was assigned to me and has been in contact with FNB for the past month with no success. It was at the point where she said “FNB is just not willing to entertain your case.” Where I knew I’m forcefully being driven into debt even when I’m trying reach an agreement with the bank. It’s as if im intentionally being ignored so I can owe them great some of money.
