FNB HINDERS CHURCH FROM BUYING BUILDING FOR THE WORK OF GOD
We are clients of FNB and a Church that are growing and been looking for a building for many years in which we can continue to grow and serve the community around us. But it seems that FNB has a policy against giving churches bonds even if they can afford it. As a church we have been preparing to buy by saving money for a deposit and the cost, now that we have found an affordable and great building to continue the work of God. FNB keeps declining our application even though we can clearly afford it. THEY WANT TO USE THE CRITERIA WHICH THEY USE ON CORPORATE BUSINESSES ON US AS A CHURCH. BUT WE ARE A NON PROFIT COMPANY. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT FNB BANK ARE DISCRIMINATING AGAINST CHURCHES JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE CHURCHES. IT SURELY LOOKS LIKE IT. We as a church are now prevented from moving forward and from growing because the bank.
